Bonne Chère is the name of the plot of land where  this intense red wine was born. Currently, 2 vintages are available: 2008 and 2009.

2008 has recently been awarded by 3 stars in the famous Guide Hachette book.

CompositionSyrah is dominent in this wine. Mourvèdre and Grenache are also part from the blend.
Technique de vinification

Made from selected plot of lands, harvest is done manually in order to select the best quality. Fermentation is done at 25-28°C and grapes are macerating during 3 to 5 weeks.

After the second fermentation (malolactic), the wine is aged in oak barrels for 6-12 months in order to smooth its tannins and exhalt its aromas.

DégustationThis wine displays a garnet-red color with glints of purple in the younger vintages, which with aging evolves into a classic ruby color. The nose reveals intense aromas of licorice and black fruits shading into toasted overtones. In the mouth, the finish is long, powerful and generous.
